    Wow! This was probably more intense than I expected. Well, it's down to the two tier 3s that have come to the finals. Will the Sun God be able to burn the Spiked Balls with the sun, or will the Spiked Balls produce enough Spiked Balls to overwhelm the Sun Avatar?

    Custom Tower: Mermaid Monkey!

    A fan-made tower I send to NK a while back which they responded they liked a lot. Doubt it would make it into the game, but I felt like sharing it here.

    Mermaid Monkey:

    Type: Magic

    Placement: Water/Land. Must be in water to benefit from water tower buffs. Occupies as much space as a Druid.

    Cost: $820, it's a bit pricey due to its placement options and base attack is strong.

    Base Attack: Every 2 seconds, throws a spiky sea urchin at bloons that pop 2 layers, then linger on the track to pop other bloons. Lingering Sea Urchins pop 1 layer to passing bloons up to 3, and last 5 seconds. If there are no bloons in range, Mermaid Monkeys toss Sea Urchins onto the track anyways (much like Acid Pool). Does not include camo at base and does sharp damage (cannot pop leads nor frozen).

    Any buffs to damage increase both the direct throw damage and the passing over damage. Pierce buffs increase the maximum bloons that can pass over an urchin before expiring, but does not change duration.

    Upgrade Paths and Themes:

    Note: Unsure costs, but these are the general idea for each.

    Path 1 - Sea Animals

    Lasting Urchins (T1): Increased Urchin duration and pierce.

    Water Pressurized (T2): Sea Urchins can pop lead and frozen bloons.

    Shellies and Jellies (T3): Alternates by throwing a Shell or Jellyfish as an extra attack. Shells have a lot of pierce and deal extra damage to leads, ceramics, and MOABs. Jellyfish target the strongest bloon and latch onto them, popping 1 layer every 0.5s to a maximum 10s.

    Clamping Clams (T4): Spawns Clams on the track that snap bloons passing over them. Bloons clamped by clams are stuck in the spot for 10s and take +1 damage from all sources. MOABs are only stuck on the spot for the same time as Maim MOAB stuns, but still take +1 damage for 10s.

    Sharknado (T5): Summons giant water tornados full of sharks every 5s which chase bloons and pop 50 layers a second to all bloons in contact. Sharknados last 15s and have infinite range.

    Path 2 - Hydromancer (Mage who controls water)

    Water Polo (T1): Can throw urchins over walls and obstacles, also increases projectile speed.

    Sailors Vision (T2): Increased range and can spot camo.

    Salty Splash (T3): Splashes salty sea water at non-MOAB bloons, weakening their rubber for 5s. Attack works similar to Pat, affecting a small radius within the Mermaids range. Mermaids do not target bloons already dosed in salt water.

    Bloons soaked in salt water have camo effects washed off, and can be popped by any damage type.

    Ocean Commotion (T4): Salty Splash now knocks back affected bloons and lasts 8. Added Ability - Mighty Wave, cooldown 60s. Causes a larger Salty Splash with twice the radius and applies salt water to all bloons caught in the splash, even DDTs (removes their camo and they can be popped by all damage types.

    Tidal Domination (T5): Become the controller of the ocean. Doubles Salty Splash speed, pierce, and duration and can slow MOABs. Ability is upgraded to Tidal Wave which sends a giant wave across the screen, causing Superstorm level knockback to all bloons including MOABs, washing away all special effects (same as Shattering Shells), covering the entire track in Urchins, and applying the salt water debuff to all bloons.

    Extra: You can place water towers on land due to this tower's water bending abilities, as long as it's within the Tidal Domination's range. Basically reverse Arctic Wind.

    Path 3 - Siren (Mermaid like Mythical creature that sings hypnotic tunes to lure and kill sailors)

    Spike Shrapnel (T1): When a Sea Urchin expires, launches 8 spikes in all directions (identical to base Tack Shooter attack)

    Jagged Edges (T2): Sea Urchins do +1 damage for every bloon rank above Rainbows. Example: Does +1 damage to Ceramics, +2 to MOABs, +3 to BFBs, etc.

    Stunning Voice (T3): Turns the Mermaid into a Siren. Every 0.2s stuns the first bloon in range that isn't stunned.

    Hypnotic Tunes (T4): Siren's Song hypnotizes bloons into popping each other. Every 0.3s converts the strongest non-MOAB bloon in range into an Undead Bloon.

    Sailors Bane (T5): Increases attack speed of all Mermaids by 15%, and its own attack speed by double. Gains additional MOAB Hypnotism attack, which has 100 pierce and converts MOABs into Undead counterparts every 10 seconds. MOABs use 20 pierce, BFBs 50, and ZOMGs use 100 pierce. Undead ZOMGs do even higher damage than Undead BFBs, albeit slower. Both Hypnotic Tunes and MOAB Hypnotism have infinite range.
