    Stronger Stimulant: common myths and correct cross paths

    Hello everyone! I have noticed lots of people, including really good players, have had a lot of misconception about the top path alchemist and its cross paths. So today, I'm going to explain all about the 4th tier alch and which cross paths you'd should use. The third tier alch works a bit differently so if anyone in the comments says they want a guide on the third tier alch, I will make that too. For now though, this is just for the 4xx alch. Disclaimer: this guide is completely ignoring the fact that alchs can attack bloons, this is solely for the buff a tower purposes.

    MYTH NUMBER ONE: a 420 alch's potion gives more star buffs than a 400. This. Is. False. ALL 4th tier alchs give the same amount of stat buffs, and the cross paths only decide how long the buff lasts. whichever 4th tier crosspath you get, the tower will always get +1 damage, +3 pierce, 85% attack speed, and +15% range.

    MYTH NUMBER TWO: cross paths don't do anything and you should always just keep your alch at a 400. This is also false. Cross paths do do things. 401 makes the alch throw out a potion every 6.4 seconds instead of every 8 seconds, and the 420 makes the potion last 50 shots/13 seconds instead of 40 shots/12 seconds

    MYTH NUMBER THREE: 420 alch is very good on something like a spike storm. This is a mistake I see being made from even relatively good players. There is absolutely no reason why 420 would be better on a spike storm, maybe something about reapplication, but that means something completely different I'll explain later in this guide. a 420 alch is not exceptionally good on a spike storm.

    MYTH NUMBER FOUR: 420 alch is better than 401 alch. Through extensive research (not really) I have determined that even when everything is in the 420 alchs favor, the only reason why you would ever use a 420 alch is if you're using two of them to buff one tower. In any other situation, whichever tower you are buffing, USE A 401 ALCH. A 401 alch is always 1.25x as powerful as a 400, and at the very best, a 420 alch is 1.25x as powerful as a 401, while usually its going to end up being closer to 1.08x as powerful. Also, 401 is slightly cheaper. So unless you're using like 2 alchs to buff one sun avatar, always use a 401 alch.

    For third tier, like I said earlier, it's a bit different and a 320 alch can actually do things, so if anyone wants me to make a guide similar to this one on the third tier alch, just tell me and I will. :)
