    Bug Fixes

    • Resolved a crash which could occur for remaining players after another was removed from in co-op games
    • Resolved a memory leak that would occur upon the creation of any tower while also having an 'alternate' skin equipped for your hero
    • Resolved a possible crash on the main menu updating from version 10.0 to version 12.0
    • Resolved a crash when placing an instamonkey in a co-op daily challenge then returning to menu
    • Fixed an issue with multiple hero placement
    • Tower upgrades UI now correctly loops back to Dart Monkey after Engineer
    • Dart Monkey xx5 damage increased by 1 to match xx4's increase

    Engineer Fixes

    • Resolved an issue where selling an engineer after having it place a Bloontrap would cause random objects to be deleted from the game scene
    • Resolved an issue that would cause an instant game crash if any other tower was destroyed/sold during the same frame engineer's Overclock was applied
    • Gwendolin's Heat it Up should no longer cause crashes when used with sentries crosspathed with Bloontrap
    • Resolved an issue where 000 engineers could gain the x2x engineer buff
    • Engineer's Bloontrap no longer grants camo detection to sentries
    • Engineer Monkey Knowledge prerequisites have been fixed

    Map Issues

    • Fixed an unusual node issue on Spillway that would block range in incorrect ways
    • Fixed wave effects on Peninsula as well as the main menu
    • Layering fixed for many 'road items' on the Spillway track
    • Resolved some tower placement issues on Cargo

    Achievements and Knowledge

    • Resolved some issues with loading save games with Monkey Knowledge applied
    • Monkey Knowledge, Military Conscription should now correctly be given to only one player in the co-op daily challenge and not cause a desync
    • Some achievements should no longer count progress in the challenge editor

    Desktop version

    • Pressing TAB to change mortar targeting should no longer cause crashes under some circumstances
    • Pressing ESC will no longer break the game simulation in some cases from the tower upgrades menu

    Chef Monkey

    Base (330$): Throws a Grape that pierces through 3 bloons, same fire rate as a dart monkey. Primary tower.

    L1 (500$) "Table Manners": Switches the grape to a fork, that pops through 5 bloons and a longer flight duration.

    L2 (820$) "Novice Chef": Increased attack speed & range.

    L3 (1600$) "Clever Cleaver": Switches the fork to a Cleaver, pierces through 13 bloons and does extra damage to fortified, ceramic & Moab layers. Has a longer flight duration and a bigger hitbox.

    L4 (2500$) "1000° Cleaver": Pops 3 layers and lead.

    L5 (30000$) "Utensilord": Now controls all Utensils: His cleaver pops into 6 kitchen knifes, each popping 7 bloons; Has a close range spoon swipe, which stuns bloons; Has 4 forks spinning around him (like a Glaive Lord) that pop camo. He also gains much more attack speed.

    M1 (650$) "Bigger Grapes": extra pierce, bigger hitbox and longer flight duration.

    M2 (800$) "Tropical Treat": throws 6 pineapples in a circle every second grape/fork throw, explode upon impact.

    M3 (2200$) "More Fruit": Adds 3 additional grapes to his throws and doubles the pineapples. Also gives aces another pineapple and boats 2 extra grapes.

    M4 (16500$) "Spicing": Buffs edible projectiles: Grapes (if Boat or Chef in range [includes himself])- Pop 2 layers of bloons. Pineapples (Ace, Chef) - Leave flames on the ground and slows down bloons. Durians (Chef)- Pops 30 bloons. Bananas (Farms)- 20% increase in value, leaves peels on the ground. Dragon Fruits (Chef)- Removes bloon modifiers.

    M5 (59000$) "Fruit Salad": Ability, Makes a storm of all fruits, pops bloons and blows them back. Due to it being very nutritious it heals and gives a cash boost (like 5000$ or something).

    R1 (700$) "Banana Picker": he want Banana (yay! A monkey farmer without using powers).

    R2 (250$) "Taller Hat": increased range.

    R3 (1500$) "Harmful Jalapenos": his main attack is a Jalapeno that pop lead, 2 layers and leave a burny effect on bloons.

    R4 (3300$) "Dreadful Durians": Lays on the ground durians like a Spactory and pop 25 bloons along with camo (The camo detection only applies to the durians), at a rate of a base Spactory. After a durian popped 25 bloons, it leaves a stench cloud that damage bloons over time.

    R5 (27000$) "Dragon Fruit Devastation": Switches his main attack for a dragon fruit (Pitaya) which pops through 100 bloons, 10 layers and camo. Upon reaching the pop limit it explodes into a lot of seeds, which pop more bloons. Also has buffs across the board {attack speed, range, faster projectiles etc}.

    Buy that ultraboost

    BTD6 Science - Heroes with Engineer's Ultraboost buff

    So I really hope nobody's done this yet, but I made a few videos of each hero with a few buffs and tested them on a couple different rounds to see how they performed.

    Rounds Tested:

    • 76 - No abilities used for any.
    • 78 - No abilities used for any except Ezili, sadly she needed it.
    • 95 - Abilities popped when the DDTs got around the halfway point.
    • 98 - Abilities popped when enough bloons were in range.

    Here's the towers used to buff the heroes:

    1. 250 Monkey Village
    2. 502 Alchemist
    3. 050 Engineer

    Their performance is listed from best to worst:

    1. Captain Churchill - Just ridiculous. Absolutely insane. Cleared all rounds with ease.
    2. Quincy - A very close 2nd place. As the video shows, he annihilated everything in sight eventually, but let bloons get slightly further than Churchill did.
    3. Gwendolin- Surprisingly strong against every round. No leaks, but some got a bit close.
    4. Striker Jones - Without the use of his Concussive Shell, he would not have placed very well. However, this stun and it's very low cooldown brought him into the top half of this list.
    5. Obyn- To no surprise, Obyn did very well. He struggled with round 98, but overall pretty strong.
    6. Pat Fusty - Performed decently, however his small attack radius seemed to doom him to the lower part of the list.
    7. Benjanim- I have to put him ahead of Ezili not because of pops (obviously), but because of his Bloon Trojan. He uses this significantly more often when under the effects of Ultraboost as well as the x5x Monkey Village buff. Could be useful with a solid support tower.
    8. Ezili- I really wanted Ezili to be strong. MOAB hex has such potential, but it didn't seem like Ultraboost affected it at all. Really underwhelming performance, even struggling to finish 76 and 78.

    Overall the fact that these heroes can solo these rounds just proves how strong that buff is. Due to the extremely high cost of it, without a significant amount of farming early on it seems unrealistic to get it during normal play. However, if you want to push rounds past 100, getting all of your towers to 10 stacks of the buff should prove very valuable.

    Can't start my game at all

    I have it on windows 10 and everytime I go to load it up it'll go to step 3 (training monkeys) then crash but it was working fine a few hours ago. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and uninstalled and reinstalled steam. Any Ideas?

    Apparently the grow blocker affects the bloons even if they are far from the village.
